After spending days preparing the bottom to paint, we finally got to roll on the first layer.  It went on fast and thick. After two weeks of rain and wind for the sanding part, we were lucky enough to have clear skies while actually painting so no need for our tarp set up!  We decided to stick with a black bottom and picked hard paint vs the ablative for this go around. We're hoping to not haul out again for at least two years. We scraped and sanded through pockets of 6 different colors of paint. Just before painting over it, the bottom looked like a rainbow of colors.

SO lucky to have gorgeous weather during this step!
